Still forklift alternatives in all of Paraguay

Still forklift alternatives for industrial and port operations

Still forklift inquiries are common among logistics and terminal managers seeking dependable warehouse handling. ELEVA is the GV group brand for the Paraguayan market, with a branch in Ciudad del Este and service across Brazilian ports. With over 15 years supplying container terminals, river ports, and industries, ELEVA provides heavy machinery solutions tailored to demanding cargo flows.

Still is an international brand not represented by ELEVA. ELEVA does not sell Still equipment or perform authorized maintenance for the brand. Instead, ELEVA represents premier global manufacturers including Hangcha, Genma, Meclift, Westwell, Jiangsu, and JMG. For operations in all of Paraguay, ELEVA supplies new and semi-owned Hangcha forklifts up to 7 tons for purchase, alongside heavy rental machinery from 10 to 46 tons.

How to choose the right forklift for your facility

Choosing the right forklift requires evaluating load capacity, operational cycles, and fuel type. ELEVA provides technical consulting and fleet sizing to help operations match equipment to site demands.

Capacity and application

Equipment needs vary by cargo profile:

Handling up to 7 tons: Forklifts and electric pallet trucks up to 7 tons suit warehouse racking, cross-docking, and container stuffing.
Heavy loads from 10 to 46 tons: River ports, steel terminals, and heavy industries require heavy forklifts and reach stackers.

New and semi-owned equipment

ELEVA offers flexible acquisition paths:

New equipment: Factory-new units from represented brands include factory warranty and assisted installation.
Semi-owned equipment: Inspected used forklifts in full working order offer lower capital cost and limited warranty, with monthly availability upon consultation.

How much is LPG costing your operation?

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remains common in internal combustion forklifts, yet recurring operational expenses often exceed expectations. Facility managers must examine several cost factors to understand their true expenditure:

Hourly fuel consumption: Continuous lifting, ramp climbing, and heavy cycles drive up gas consumption per operating hour.
Cylinder procurement and inventory: Routine bottle replacement incurs freight costs, handling fees, and storage administration.
Downtime during tank swaps: Work stops whenever an operator leaves the work area to disconnect, replace, and verify gas cylinders.
Indoor ventilation requirements: Using combustion forklifts indoors requires mechanical ventilation systems to dissipate exhaust fumes.
Storage safety: Pressurized gas cylinders require dedicated outdoor cages, safety perimeters, and regular safety inspections.

Tracking operating hours alongside monthly fuel invoices helps uncover actual operational costs. Contact ELEVA to request a direct operational cost comparison with electric alternatives.

Advantages of an electric forklift

Electric forklifts match the lifting performance of combustion machines while delivering lower operating overhead and superior environmental control.

Key operational advantages include:

Zero exhaust emissions: With no combustion fumes, electric forklifts are essential for indoor warehouses, food storage, pharmaceuticals, and cold rooms.
Quiet operation: Eliminating engine noise improves operator awareness and communication across busy warehouse floors.
Fewer engine components: Electric drivetrains eliminate motor oil, filters, spark plugs, and cooling maintenance, reducing servicing downtime.
Scheduled recharging: Recharging fits planned shift breaks, removing manual cylinder exchanges and hazardous fuel handling.
