Reach stacker rental in all of Paraguay

What is a reach stacker and when to deploy one

Reach stacker rental is the primary solution for container terminals, river ports, and logistics yards requiring agile, high-capacity container handling. Unlike fixed cranes or standard forklifts, a reach stacker features a heavy-duty telescopic boom and a container spreader. This machinery stacks laden and empty 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers up to five or six units high, reaching into second and third container rows or rail lines to maximize yard storage density.

For river ports, logistics yards, and industrial terminals in all of Paraguay, reach stackers deliver essential operational flexibility for containerized cargo and bulk goods. Backed by over 15 years of industry experience from the GV group, ELEVA provides dependable heavy equipment. Operators accustomed to machines from Kalmar, Hyster, or Linde can transition seamlessly to Genma and Hangcha reach stackers represented by ELEVA, which offer equivalent lifting capacities, robust engineering, and dedicated local support.

Key criteria for selecting a reach stacker rental

Selecting the right reach stacker requires evaluating your site layout, container weights, and operational intensity:

Lifting capacity: Equipment spans 10 to 46 tons. Because lifting capacity decreases across deeper rows, ensure the machine matches maximum container weights at your required stacking depth.
Equipment condition: Choose between factory-new Genma and Hangcha units with full warranty, or inspected pre-owned units offering reliable performance under limited warranty, with availability varying monthly.
Contract term: ELEVA contracts start at a 6-month minimum, supporting seasonal harvest peaks, medium-term projects, or multi-year terminal operations.
Indoor container handling: For cargo handling inside containers with low overhead clearance, reach stackers are complemented by Meclift machines capable of reaching the back of the container.

How reach stacker rental works with ELEVA

ELEVA offers tailored rental agreements that preserve working capital without immobilizing assets in heavy machinery. Contracts are established on semi-annual, annual, or multi-year terms.

When securing equipment for operations in all of Paraguay, ELEVA delivers reach stackers backed by comprehensive contractual guarantees:

Preventive and corrective maintenance included: Full maintenance coverage is built into every contract, using original manufacturer parts.
Equipment replacement in 24 hours: In case of an unresolvable mechanical failure, ELEVA provides machine replacement within 24 hours.
Fleet scalability: Adjust fleet size up or down as terminal throughput fluctuates.
Certified operator options: Machinery is available with or without certified operators based on client preference.

Maintenance, fleet intelligence, and technical support

Operational uptime is essential in container logistics. ELEVA maintains a dedicated technical structure with certified technicians providing preventive, corrective, and emergency assistance across Paraguay and Brazilian ports.

Terminals and industrial sites operating in all of Paraguay benefit from our certified field technicians who keep machines in peak operating condition:

Hour-meter maintenance plan: Servicing is scheduled strictly according to machine hour meters, tracking every intervention.
IntegraOne CMMS tracking: Equipment is monitored through the IntegraOne CMMS platform from the GV group, tracking hour meters, work orders, and machine availability.
Client management portal: Clients access an online portal displaying maintenance histories, costs, and contract details.
Operator qualification: ELEVA conducts reach stacker and forklift operator training in partnership with clients to promote terminal safety and best operational practices.

Common mistakes to avoid when renting container handling equipment

Avoiding common errors protects operational safety and yard productivity:

Underestimating second-row container weight: Reach stacker lifting capacity decreases as the boom extends. Ensure capacity ratings match actual weights at the second and third rows.
Renting without full maintenance coverage: Contracts lacking inclusive corrective service can lead to unexpected repair costs and prolonged equipment downtime.
Using improper equipment inside containers: Standard reach stackers cannot operate within containers. Low-profile machines like Meclift should be deployed for internal cargo stuffing and stripping.
Neglecting hour-meter monitoring: Overlooking maintenance milestones leads to unscheduled breakdowns during critical vessel loading windows.
Operating with untrained personnel: Using uncertified operators increases component wear, fuel consumption, and site safety risks.

Factors that determine reach stacker rental rates

Rental rates for reach stackers depend on several technical and operational variables rather than a fixed rate. When requesting a quote from ELEVA, pricing is structured around:

Lifting capacity: Required tonnage across the 10 to 46-ton range and boom reach specifications.
Equipment condition: Brand-new Genma or Hangcha reach stackers compared to inspected pre-owned units with dynamic monthly availability.
Contract length: Multi-year and annual contracts provide more favorable commercial terms than the 6-month minimum baseline.
Operating intensity: Anticipated monthly machine hours and site duty cycles.
Operator staffing: Dry lease machinery or rental with certified operators included.
